Hoping that carries over to Source Code.Brianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16130518355363703289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3785813324069185461.post-77020639892684941982010-12-10T08:07:00.186-06:002010-12-10T08:07:00.186-06:00I can't do the Transformers. It was a bad kids' cartoon, and it is simply not redeemable.<br /><br />The Beaver looks very interesting, and might be the perfect vehicle for Gibson at this point in what's left of his career. <br /><br />Source Code looks intriguing, although like many science fiction movies (and books for that matter), the framework seems to be artificially contrived to support the central idea. The idea in this case is the "last 8 minutes." The author or screenwriter then works backward from that to think of a framework and background that will permit that idea to be played out. This isn't bad, but it is hard to make it seem real and compelling. "Inception" did it. Not so sure this one will, but it will be worth a shot.Talmidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01123857487759706541noreply@blogger.com
